Your story has always inspired me. I was born into the Christian faith. I always remember feeling in complete disagreement with some of the things that were preached to me. Yet, I still have a tight seam still rooted within this faith. I don’t know if it’s because church was such a…
Great response! I have also been raised in the Christian faith. My journey began by reading a book called Parenthesis in Eternity by Joel Goldsmith. It really opened my mind to new thoughts. From there I have read many books - lately Eckhart Tolle and Michael A. Singer, and Deepak Chopra. There are many mystical writers out there you can look into… you just have to find what is right for you… I suggest finding the silence within you … (smile) from there everything will happen just as it should…
it’s as if you really did leave…
do you remember me? do you remember the little girl that used to follow you around everywhere you went? to the bank. to the park. do you remember when you slipped and fell on ice and i laughed at you. do you remember buying me those silly running shoes and tacky…
Thank you for sharing your heart here. I appreciate your honesty. Remember you are not alone and yes… you ARE somebody. (((hugs)))

I would love to see this in walmart parking lot LOL where I work ….
You’re one of my heroes, one of the few people I look up to in life. You’re stubborn and set in your ways, right or wrong.
It hurts me so when you make remarks about people I care about. It hurts me when you bash gays. It hurts me when I realize that I can never confide in you the biggest part of…
These feelings are so true. I remember the things said also from my sons and for many years it hurt so bad to hear them and wondering how they would hate me if I came out to them. I came out to one and it wasn’t how I heard it before. It was me- looking into his eyes - it helped him grow and learn that his words mean something. It is different when someone who loves you hears you. Much love to you!
It warms my heart to see that of all the pictures of the players celebrating with their family after that win, USA Today chose Megan Rapinoe and her girlfriend and didn’t feel the need to sanitize it by saying it was just her “friend”. Thank you Megan Rapinoe for coming out officially when you did.

I absolutely love this ! I am sooo proud of their courage! It inspires me.
Rashida Jones says John Travolta should come out, then apologizes
Rashida Jones last week: A movie star. Like John Travolta? Come out! Come on. How many masseurs have to come forward? Let's do this.
Rashida Jones this week: Made a thoughtless comment about John Travolta. I sincerely apologize. Nobody's personal life is my business.
Gawker: Translation: "Made a comment about John Travolta being gay without thinking that I might have to work with him in the future. I sincerely apologize for not considering the repercussions. Nobody's personal life is my business, but John Travolta is obviously gay."
Fair? Unfair? What do we think of celebrities or websites implying things about other people's sexualities, regardless of what the public thinks?
I don't read anything that judges someone else. I would read the statement of someone who shares their story about being gay though. I just don't think it is wise for me to make comments to the public about what my impression is about someones sexuality. It isn't something I would have any first hand knowledge about so why put it out there?
